Shelby Jane Gomez, 46 passed away on Sunday May 6, 2018. Born on October 6, 1971 to Jorge and Jane Gomez, Shelby was a graduate of Seminole High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University. Shelby was considered family to many people around her. She was the unofficial aunt to many of her friends’ children and loved the title “Auntie Shelby”. She inspired those around her with words of encouragement and genuine interest in their lives. Shelby took the time to make sure that others felt loved and appreciated. She had a vivacious spirit and positive attitude. She was always up for a challenge and didn’t shy away from difficult situations. She was full of energy and life and was taken away too soon from her friends and loved ones. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her brother Michael and her faithful dog, Ziggy.
