William Warren Whitman Jr., age 75, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Born on August 28, 1950, William proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In recognition of his courage and dedicated service, he was awarded the Bronze Star, an honor he carried with quiet pride throughout his life.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela Whitman, whom he loved dearly and missed deeply.

He is survived by his two daughters, Stacie Aiani and Amy Watt; his cherished grandchildren, Stephen Walters, Austin Aiani, and Sophia Watt; and his four siblings, Roni, Dayle, Mark, and Scott. He also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will remember him with love and gratitude.

William found his greatest happiness surrounded by his family. He especially treasured spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and joy. Whether gathering for family cookouts, cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or watching the Tampa Bay Rays, he embraced life’s simple pleasures and created lasting memories with those he loved.

William will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his honorable military service, his steadfast spirit, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy of strength, loyalty, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
