Visuvalingam Sanmuganathan

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Visuvalingam Sanmuganathan who left us on Sep 25, 2023. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Visuvalingham Manonmani and the Son-in the law of the late Mr. & Mrs. Arunachalam and Sironmani; Beloved Husband of Pavalarani;  loving Father of Rohan Ashok, Kugan, Shriyan, Harini and Sheerani; loving Father-in-law of Wimalan, Jeyaruban, Vasumathy and Kalum.  He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Hari, Vaishali, Braveena, Kesana, Lakshana, Lakshmi, Eashaan, Jithen and Hrithik; loving Grandson-in-law Thomas and Great-grandson Ariyen.

A life well-lived, he was born in Sri Lanka on October 8, 1934. He embarked on a journey that brought him to the USA in 2005. He received his education at Carey College in Sri Lanka and dedicated himself to a fulfilling career with the Irrigation Department from 1956 to 1989. His unwavering passion for cricket made him a personality loved by everyone, and he cherished a blissful marriage that lasted for an incredible 65 years.

He will be missed by all!

His funeral service will be held at Sorensen Funeral Home, 3180 30th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713, on Oct 1st, between 11,30 - 2.30 PM.
