Tammi Everett Obituary

TAMMI R. EVERETT, 57, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, after losing her battle with cancer.
Tammi was born in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on February 11, 1964, daughter of the late Martin Sr. and Josephine Higgs. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Arthur “Scott” Everett, their two children, Joseph Everett and Sabrina (Logan) Neville, her two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Malcolm Neville, and her sister, Dorothy (Peter) Andrews. She is preceded in death by her brother Martin Higgs Jr. Tammi’s early years were spent in North Beach, Maryland and her summers in Colonial Beach, Virginia. They moved to St. Petersburg when she was in elementary school and she graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1982. Tammi could always be found helping others. A majority of her working years were spent as a Registrar at St. Anthony's Hospital until retiring to aid in the care of Scott’s mother. She enjoyed camping with family, watching Murdoch Mysteries with her son and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the Lealman Community Emergency Response Team and an amateur HAM radio operator. Memorial Services will be honored by The Lighthouse at Friendship Baptist Church, 4001 74 Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709, on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10 A.M. with lunch provided by the church after the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Tammi R.
