Steven E. Niendorf, (62), of Saint Petersburg, Florida, passed away on January 13th, 2024. Steven, fondly known as Steve was born to Richard and Lois Niendorf on August 28th, 1961, in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Born and raised in St. Pete, Steve graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High and went on to Votech for AC Repair.  Ultimately devoted to his family, Steve ran the family business for 17 years.  In his free time, he could be found biking, kayaking, and above all - fishing the gulf with his beloved son.  Steve is survived by his wife Diane, his daughter Nicole, son in law Josef and his three grandchildren, his son Eric and his daughter in law Angelique expecting his fourth grandchild.  He is also survived by his mother, Lois, his sister Laura, and his brother David.  He is predeceased by his father, Richard, and his brother Rick.  He was a loving and loyal husband, father, son, and grampie to his three grandchildren.  Steve could be described as an old salt who was both kind and gentle to everyone he met.  His infectious smile and laugh will be sorely missed by all those who loved him.  Steve’s family will be having a private ceremony and celebration of life.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation, or Hospice.
