Robert served in the United States Marine Core. A proud veteran, he carried the values of service and dedication with him always. When he returned home after his honorable discharge, he met the love of his life, Marguerite, and they were married in 1971.
Robert and Marguerite eventually moved from Connecticut and made their home for more than 40 years with their children in New City, NY.
After retiring from a career in Defense Materials Planning and Procurement, Robert and Marguerite moved to South Pasadena, FL, which quickly became their second home.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and as Pop-Pop, he was fortunate to have had special relationships with each of them.
Robert will be remembered for many things. He had a natural ability to light up a room with his humor and kindness. He cherished time spent visiting with family and friends. Whether through a joke or a simple conversation, he made everyone feel welcome, special and at home in his presence.
His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.
