Richard Michael “Mike” Crump passed away at home on January 27, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on May 18, 1967, Mike lived a life marked by loyalty, adventure, and deep love for his family. Mike was happiest outdoors and traveling with his life partner Petra. He had a lifelong passion for fishing and hunting and found freedom and joy riding his motorcycles. These hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit and love of the open road and open water. He was a man who valued hard work, simple pleasures, and time spent with those he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife, Petra Crump; his children Cody Phelps (wife, Kim), Michael D. Crump, and Damien Cordero (wife, Rylie); and his treasured granddaughter, Samara. He also leaves behind his siblings Sandra D. Barnhill (husband, Barney), Travis W. Crump, and Shawn B. Crump (wife Ash), along with multiple nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Richard F. Crump and Doris J. Crump, and his sisters Joyce L. Steelman and Casey M. Antle, who are now welcoming him home in heaven. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, February 11th 2:00pm at 30th Ave Baptist Church 3241 30th Ave N St. Petersburg 33713
