Norma left this earthly home on August 16, 2020 to see our most beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1930, in Somerville, MA, to Ethel MacElroy and Adelbert Lambert.

She married the love of her life, Lino Miani (Leon Miami)on October 27, 1951. They enjoyed a wonderful life raising five children, Lino (Maria Aja), Tina (Jim Chism), Jeanine, Cindi (Alex Akin), and Ken. She has seven grandkids, Lino Miani, Gabriel Miani (Sarah ), Tania Miani (Brian Hummel), Jeremy Chism (Teresa Richardson), Kevin Chism (Catherine Vida), and Knoah and Karson Miani, and eight great-grandkids.

Norma was a founding family of the Most Holy Name of Jesus parish. Shed was the Religious Chairperson for the parish Women's Club, where she learned to make rosaries to be sent to the missions, military, and for Cursillo candidates. Over the years she taught many how to make the rosaries with many hundreds of rosaries being made and shared. She was a member of the first class of Eucharistic Ministers and remained active for as long as she was able to fulfill her duties.

Norma, along with her husband Leon, was active with the Knight of Columbus, Council 5131, where she was President of the Knightengales and later the Columbiettes. She was also active with the school clubs; the Cursillo; and the Magnificat, a diocesan breakfast program for women to share their life experiences with other women. With the Magnificat, Norma served as head of the kitchen for several years.

Professionally, Norma was a medical lab technician. She worked for Dr. Quell, Dr. Kilmark, and, for over 30 years with Dr. Henry Mela.

Norma enjoyed traveling. She'd visited nearly every state in the United States and visited numerous countries in Europe and Asia. She was a member of the Bay Jay camping club with which she enjoyed traveling in a 5th wheel trailer rig and where she served in all club board positions.
