Nicole Hampton was born in Seattle to James W. Hampton and Kathleen Mary Mohseni. She will always be remembered for her amazing sense of humor and quick wit.
Nicole loved cooking and gardening. She also had an exquisite taste and a great intellect. Her warm and caring heart led her to rescue and foster dogs and puppies who were in “harm’s way.” She would call shelters regularly to give homes to dogs in need.
Nicole’s ‘Generosity of Spirit’ pushed her forward to help others flourish, which she did with an open, willing heart.
Nicole is survived by her Mother Kathleen Mary Mohseni and her Step-Father Panikos G. Lapertas, her children Caitlyn, Christopher, Joshua, and Brandon, her grandson Connor, and her siblings Malika and Jhavid. She lived for 6 years with the “love of her life” Philip D. D’Angelo III in St Petersburg, Florida.
There will be a viewing on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 5pm - 8pm at Sorensen Funeral Home. The following day, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 a service will be held at the same location beginning at 9am.
“Be joyful! Nicole’s work is done on this Earth. She is free at last to go on to what is next.”
Contributions can be made on Nicole's behalf to Humane Society of Pinellas and Friends of Strays.
