Nancy (Ellison) Jacobs, a proud St. Petersburg native and esteemed graduate of St. Petersburg High School, passed away from health complications on October 15, 2023, at the age of 84. Born on March 13, 1939, Nancy was a respected member of her community, leaving an indelible mark through her commitment to her work and her kind-hearted presence.
Nancy dedicated her life to hard work and perseverance. As a dedicated assembly worker, she was a shining example of someone who others admired and respected of colleagues and peers. Her strong work ethic set her apart, making her a role model for many. Nancy's life and her warm presence touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nancy is survived by those who loved her dearly, including her loving sister, Sue Piper, devoted son, James Beucher, and her cherished grandchildren, James Brandon Beucher and Dr. Renea Skelton. Her legacy continues through three great-grandchildren, and her longtime friend, Donn Duncan.
Though there may be no formal funeral service, the memories she created with her family and friends will ensure her legacy lives on. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sorensen’s Funeral Home for their support during our period of sadness. Please join us in celebrating Nancy’s life by remembering the joy she brought. She will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
