Nancy Brautigam Campbell passed away on July 19, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.  She was born June 26, 1964.  Nancy was a resident of St. Petersburg since 1972 and graduated from Northeast High School in 1982.  She participated in the honor guard, Gondoliers, Thespian Society and Civitan.  Upon graduation she attended St Petersburg Jr. College. At this college, Nancy was a cheerleader, and a member of the honor society.  Nancy then went to the University of South Florida (USF) and received her bachelor’s degree.  Upon graduation Nancy worked for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Nancy started off as a Narcotics Analyst and was soon hired by the Largo Police Department in 1996. Nancy returned to the Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff in 1999. She worked in Patrol, the Community Policing Unit, Sexual Predator Unit, and finished her career in the Judicial Operations Bureau before retiring in 2019. Nancy was an avid fan of the Rays, Lightning and the Buccaneers. Nancy also loved dogs and cats. She loved supporting the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals “SPCA”.

Nancy is survived by her Loving Mother Gail Brautigam Vazzano (Dominic), Brother Hank Brautigam (Sue), Sister Kathe Jones (Philip) and nieces and nephews.
