Maureen Cox Obituary

Maureen Cox, born in Belfast Ireland, beloved mother to 5 children, passed away in Sarasota Florida of natural causes on November 5th 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Belfast Ireland in 1931 to Maria Campbell-White Coulter and Robert Coulter. Maureen attended London College of Music.  In 1951 Maureen married Clarence E Cox and moved to the United States of America and became a U.S citizen in 1961.

Maureen was a devoted mother to Elizabeth, Beverley, George (D), Donna, and John (D). She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.

Maureen was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Cox, two sons George Russell and John Allen and is survived by Elizabeth Ann, Beverley Margaret and Donna Marie who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A visitation will be held at Sorensen Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 9am - 11am followed by a service at 11 am. A burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
