Mark Wayne Jones, 53, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on November 13, 2024.     

Mark was born on August 21, 1971 to Sandra and Donnie Jones in Ft. Benning, Ga. He graduated from Harris County High in 1989. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force.    

Mark was proceeded in death by his mother Sandra ( Sandy) Gail Jones, grandparents and his faithful dogs Sheldon and Scoobie.    

He is survived by his father Donnie Jones and wife Alice. His sisters Marsha Jones Witherspoon, Teresa Gunn and husband Scott, Tina Jones Baker and husband Jason. Nieces Leighanne and husband Cody Graves, Abby Woodall. Nephews Matthew and Treavor Douthit, Austin Baker and Johnathan Woodall. Great nieces and nephews Cale and Copeland Graves and Callie Woodall. Partner Robbie Rider. Many other beloved family and friends.    

Mark was a free spirit whom loved the beach, cooking and theme parks. Mark will truly be missed by all may he rest in peace.   

Celebration of life will be held on December 8th, 2024 from 2:30 till 4 at The Ridge Church on 3021 Williams Road, Columbus, GA.
