Louis Emile Lapointe Jr.

Louis Emile Lapointe, 87 years old, from St. Petersburg, FL was taken home to be with the Lord peacefully on June 28, 2022. 

He is survived by his wife, Lorrie Lapointe of 62 years marriage, his sons Mark, Paul, and a special needs son, John who went home to be with the Lord in 2019. He is also survived by his daughter Leanne Lapointe, three grandsons Nick, Mike, and Isaiah Lapointe, one granddaughter, Oceana Lapointe, and two great grandchildren, Emilia and Jack. He is also survived by Paul’s wife Cathy, Nick’s wife Hannah and Mike’s wife Nicole. 

Louis E. Lapointe was originally from Worcester Mass. born May 25, 1935. He served proudly in the Army in the 82nd Airborne from 1954-1957. In 1974 he graduated from Barrington Christian College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and a Certificate in Nursing Home Administration. 

Louis worked at Raytheon Co., Waltham Mass.

Louis E. Lapointe was a man of honor and great character. Selfless, fair, and a kind leader. He loved God and served his family and others. He had a quick wit and was non-pretentious. He was a man of great courage and work ethic. He loved his dog and gardening.
