On Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, Jeanne Bowman Hays passed peacefully in St.Petersburg, Florida at the age of 90.  While she will be missed by her family and friends, we are comforted to know of her deep Christian faith and that she now resides in His kingdom and has been rejoined with her beloved husband, Chuck, her mother Flo, and her dear grandmother Carrie.

Mrs. Hays was born in Rockford, Illinois on May 19th, 1930 then moved to Dayton, Ohio as a young girl and finished her schooling.  Here, she met and became high school sweethearts with her “One And Only” love, Chuck Hays.  They were married on April 19, 1950 and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in May, 1957 where she lived until her recent passing.  Jeanne was a devoted mother, grandmother and dear friend who routinely shared her compassion and strong Christian faith with others.

Jeanne was and always will be MY BIG SISTER. She and her whole family adopted our family when we went to Florida to live. They became our family and we theirs. I can not put into words what a wonderful family we all became. Our family learned through her who Christ really was and our lives changed forever. I am older and my family today is larger and her family has expanded over the same time. It would be a huge family reunion if we all ever get together. Jeanne is where she said home is and her life will guide us ALL home. Thank you sister, we all love you still. Our FAMILY misses you but know down the road that FAMILY REUNION will happen when we get HOME. We pray GOD'S hand is always on all of you. Dave , Janet and all the kids.
