On Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, Jeanne Bowman Hays passed peacefully in St.Petersburg, Florida at the age of 90. While she will be missed by her family and friends, we are comforted to know of her deep Christian faith and that she now resides in His kingdom and has been rejoined with her beloved husband, Chuck, her mother Flo, and her dear grandmother Carrie.
Mrs. Hays was born in Rockford, Illinois on May 19th, 1930 then moved to Dayton, Ohio as a young girl and finished her schooling. Here, she met and became high school sweethearts with her “One And Only” love, Chuck Hays. They were married on April 19, 1950 and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in May, 1957 where she lived until her recent passing. Jeanne was a devoted mother, grandmother and dear friend who routinely shared her compassion and strong Christian faith with others.
Mrs. Hays is survived by her four children, Jacquelyn (Jackie) S. Hays, Jeffrey (Jeff) A. Hays, James (Jim) A. Hays, and John (Chris) C. Hays, four granddaughters, and six great grandchildren.
