James Goddard Wareham III passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 38. He was born on August 2, 1987.
Known to his family as Jimmy, Jim, or James, he was never meant to blend into the background. He carried a mind that searched for meaning and a spirit drawn to the unusual and extraordinary. He had a sharp wit and an original perspective that made you stop, laugh, or think twice. If there was a different way to look at something, Jimmy had already found it. He was passionate about science, about learning, and about unraveling even the most complex ideas. His mind was brilliant and curious, always reaching further. Jimmy experienced the world deeply always in a way that was entirely his own. He was the funniest man in the room, always making people laugh, often when they needed it most. Beneath his humor was an enormous heart. He felt deeply and loved fiercely, and he showed up for the people in his life without hesitation. His presence was undeniable, impossible to ignore and once you knew him, you did not forget him.
He shared a special connection with his nephew Joey, whose laughter and light brought him immense joy.
His life reminds us that impact is not measured in years, but in connection. Though his time with us feels far too short, the imprint he left on our hearts cannot be erased.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
He is survived by his mother, Lynda Wareham; his father, James Wareham Jr.; his best friend and longtime partner, Brandy Pullis; his stepmother, Tammy Haynes; his brother, Joseph Wareham Sr.; his sisters, Melissa Wareham Griffiths and Sandra Wareham; and his beloved nephew, Joseph “Joey” Wareham Jr.
