Herman Thomas Boaz Obituary

Born January 22, 1934, on August 4, 2021 Herman Thomas "Bo" Boaz departed to join his beloved wife, "Kitty" in God's presence to abide, together forever, hand in hand, side by side.

Bo served in the U.S Navy and U.S. Coast Guard.

He was 87 years of age.

In his words he was blessed with a most wonderful family, sons Tony Boaz (Milton, N.C.), Danny Dalton (Nashville, TN), Wesley Prewett (Rockford, IL); daughters Sharon Byars (Memphis, TN), Ellen Pruitt (Danville, VA), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews, sisters Lona Holley and Catherine Handy (Danville, VA).

He was preceded in death by daughters Vicki Pope (Kingman, AZ), Sandy Tenalio (Nashville, TN); sons Thomas Dalton (Martinsville, VA) and Glenn Boaz (Danville, VA); also sister-in-law Liz Rowe (St. Petersburg, FL). 

Interment is to be at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
