“When we do good works for others, Jesus will say you did it for me, This is pure grace”
It’s a magnificent promise that we shall have a Shepard through life and through death.
To his family and friends, Bob was a hero, his greatest transformation was when he gave his life to Christ. He was baptized at Central Christian church on March 21, 2021 . He was a loving servant a beautiful example of what loving others should look like and he never met a stranger he didn’t know.
Anyone that knew Bob knew right away that his heart beat for his family. He was the coach that cheered you on. The counsel that gave advice. The shoulder to cry on. He was the rock of stability and source of strength for his whole family. To be in his presence you instantly felt accepted. To know Bob you knew that even if you weren’t on time, it was never too late to take your seat at the table. Bob’s love language was expressed in many forms, his big bear hugs, butterfly kisses and periodic “I love you text” that were always on time; transforming any challenging day into a blessing. He had a passion for serving others, pouring into their hearts through their belly’s through the display and artistry of his food, and his secret yet very evident ingredient of love.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace”
His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”
