Hal loved to listen to jazz music where he showed his moves as a dancer who has the groove. Hal loved to laugh and spend time with his family. Part of our hearts will go with him. He made a big impression on those who met him. We thank you, Lord, for the blessing of this man we call Dad, Husband, Grandpa and a Friend. We will truly miss such an amazing part of our lives but what an imprint Hal has left behind. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 27th 2:00pm at the funeral home.
My Heart is Singing; I Have Found The Way
Pauline Drew Stone
If only once in a lifetime
the stars came out at night,
if only once in a lifetime
we saw the sunshine bright;
We’d watch them with such rapture
That tears would be dim sight
If only once in a lifetime
We saw flowers bloom
And heard the laugher of children
Light up a lonely room;
We’d give our hearts to recapture
One sight of them in the gloom.
Yet every day in our lifetime
These blessings are waiting there;
But we blindly take them for granted,
These everyday joys so rare.
