Elvira Ann D'Agostino, nee Testa, 90, went home to the Lord, on August 2, 2024. She was born in New York City to Filomena and Adam Testa. Elvira is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her sisters, Matilda and Lucille. Elvira was devoted to her family, especially to her recently deceased sister, Lucille. She was known to her family and dear friends as Vi Vi or Vera. She loved to reminisce about the happy times she shared with her family and friends. Vi was a New York 'girl'! She was very proud of her Italian heritage and loved to cook Italian dishes, especially pasta, which was a must on Sundays. She liked to dance and enjoyed listening and singing along to music of Frank Sinatra and Dinah Washington and she sang, briefly, with her Church choir. Vi loved the old classic and cowboy movies.
Elvira is survived by devoted cousins in Florida, New York, Rhode Island and New Jersey and an Aunt in Florida. Our dearly loved Vi Vi, now you are with God and back in the arms of your beloved Mother and sisters so rest in peace. Thank you for all you did for family and friends over many years. You are loved and will be missed.
