March 3, 1937 – February 18, 2020

Elizabeth “Liz” (Bowling) Lowe 82 of St Petersburg Florida, passed away February 18, 2020. Born in Coffeeville, Mississippi, she came to St Petersburg over 50 years ago. Liz and her son Jerry Haire had been in the restaurant business for over 28 years owning and operating popular bar and grills between 1974 through 2001 including Chucks Place, Charlie’s Oyster Palace, Carlie’s, Carlie’s II.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Clara Bowling, and her daughter Cynthia “Beth” Haire. Survivors include one son Jerry F Haire, 3 grandchildren Justin, Kimberly, and Kendall, 7 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Delma Bowling, Harold Bowling and Billy Gene Bowling.

Liz was loved by many and will be tremendously missed. While our hearts are broken, we know she is in a better place and that we will all be together again someday.
