On Tuesday, August 10th, Edward Frost Spaulding III died unexpectedly at his home in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He was 33 years old.
Edward is survived by his parents Edward Spaulding II ,Debbie Spaulding and his dog Bailey of Saint Petersburg; siblings Brittaney, Thimothy, and Joshua; and cousins Brandi, Tiffany, Lauren, Hunter, Jennifer and Austin. Second Cousins Brodie and Dominic who were more like a nephews and his brother in law Brian. Also his Aunt fan (Elizabeth), Aunt Sunita, Uncle Greg and Uncle Darrel. He was preceded in death by Mary Peters, Edward Frost Spaulding I, Dorthy Miller and Delbert Miller.
Edward was born January 24, 1988 in St.Petersburg, FL. He graduated from Broach High school. He was a hard-working man who owned his own painting business with his father called 2 Eds painting. He was a devoted Tampa Bay sports fanatic, there was never a Sunday he didnt spend watching the football games with his father and brother Josh (esp the Bucs) BBQing and smoking his own meats, “Sausage Sundays”.He never missed an opportunity to travel esp with his brother Thim.He loved intruding on any of the families trips, he always took pride in being the chauffer. To know Eddie is to love him, he was the glue that held his whole family together. No project was ever to big for him, he enjoyed challenging himself to fix anything and everything. He took pride in always lending a helping hand to whoever needed him at any moment. He was very clever and intelligent and found amusment by playing pranks on people, esp his sister Brittaney. In the words of Eddie “everyone cuts their own deal”. He will be deeply missed by all.
A memorial service for Edward is scheduled for 3:00 PM August 21st at Sorensen Funeral home 3180 30th Ave N, St Petersburg, FL 33713. We will be gathering immediately after for an Irish-style wake (Celebration of life) with plenty of food and drinks at the VFW Post 4364 Hall at 5773 62nd St. N to share some of our favorite memories, stories and laughter remembering a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.
