Donald Edward Henson

Henson, Donald Edward 48, beloved by all, of Pinellas Park, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.  Don was born on March 11, 1973 in Tampa, FL. He attended elementary and middle school in Tampa until moving to St. Petersburg.   He graduated from Northeast High School, St. Petersburg College and USF.  He played youth and high school baseball, football and basketball.  His studies included IT, law, paralegal and had a realtor license.  He held many interesting jobs including Ferrell Gas.  He enjoyed basketball, football, D&D, poker, playing video games while live streaming, country music, spending time with family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Grover C. Henson, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Beatrice Locke; paternal grandmother, Ruth Henson; aunt, Anne (Milio) Yachan.  He is survived by his mother, Faye; siblings, Curtis (Stephanie), Clark (Catherine), Trish (Ed), Douglas; nephews, Adam, David, Garrett, Seth and Connor; great nephew, Dante; aunt, Peggy (Bob); uncle, Dick (Mitzy); many cousins and friends.  He will be missed by all.  A Celebrating of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 2 p.m. at Sorensen Funeral Home.  (Casual dress)
