Deborah "Deb" Barry

Deborah “Deb” Barry of St. Petersburg Florida passed away on May 14th, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Milo and Doris Jankovic. She was predecesed by her sister Janet, brothers Danny and Miles. She is survived by her husband John Barry, daughter Jessica Gantzert, sisters Bernice Mazzeo, Deanna VanHise, and Susie Freeman along with brother Bobby Jankovic. She leaves behind nieces and nephews who she loved deeply, along with the many friends she met during her lifetime. Deb loved the beach and that’s where she felt the best. From the many beaches she explored, she always had a smile and a seashell to remind her of where she had been. So, the next time you go to the Gulf, she’ll be there with you. Walking next to you, picking up a shell along the way. Smiling the whole time.
