Born November 1, 1963 in Clearwater Florida - Died October 29, 2024 in Key West, Florida.

David spent his early years growing up in Largo and Seminole Florida. As a young adult, he worked in a nursing home and became interested in pursuing a degree to become a Registered Nurse. He achieved this goal and later earned a Masters Degree in Nursing and Business Administration. He worked in several local hospitals in the area until retiring in 2024 to pursue a personal dream of owning an operating Airbnb rental properties. He loved horses, swimming, the beach, traveling, and the company of many friends. David is predeceased by his Father Norman Lee King. He leaves behind his husband Duong Nguyen, his Mother Joyce King, Sister Lauren King Hardison and Brother In Law Keith Hardison. David had a special relationship with his cousin's Jill Welker and Jenny McCord and he was especially close to members of the Nguyen family and his sisters extended family. 

He was greatly loved, will be missed by all and in our hearts forever.

A service will be held at Sorensen Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm followed by cremation.
