Christopher A. Predd

On Monday, August 15, 2022, Christopher A. Predd, passed away at age 52.

Chris was born on January 15, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN. After graduating from La Porte High School in La Porte, IN in 1988, he served in the US Navy. After his honorable discharge, he settled in Orlando, FL. He started his career in construction as a surveying technician for PEA Group.

On October 3,1999, he married Sandra Smithson in Sarasota, FL. They were married until her untimely death in 2012.

In 2000, Chris founded the company Praxis Concrete and Masonry in Sarasota, FL, which he oversaw for nearly a decade.

Chris had incredible abilities in many areas of construction. His expertise included concrete and a true mastery of home remodeling. His beautiful work can be seen in countless homes across central Florida.

Chris was known by his friends and loved ones to have an amazingly courageous spirit and tireless work ethic. He was absolutely selfless in all aspects of his life.

Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra. He is survived by his father Florian (Christine) Predd, his mother Bonnie Predd, brothers Patrick, Joel and Martin and sister Holly (Drew) Carlson, and his much-loved dog, Lola.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Sorensen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg at 3:00 PM.
