Beatrice Faye Locke

Beatrice “Faye” Locke passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday,
August 15, 2026. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, she brought warmth, laughter,
and an unforgettable kindness to everyone who crossed her path.

Faye graduated from St. Petersburg High School. She continued her education at
St. John’s College, where is received her bachelor degree. Throughout her life, she
worked as a medical transcriptionist and receptionist, and she was a beloved
member of the team at Home Depot. Faye was defined by her generous spirit.
She was famous for handing out peppermint candies to brighten people's days,
and no dog she ever met went without a treat. She deeply loved her plants, and
flowers, but above all, she cherished her dogs, family, friends, and co-workers.
She loved chatting on the porch with her friends and neighbors. Her sharp sense
of humor and fierce devotion to her loved ones will be forever remembered.

She is preceded in death by her son, Donald, and her parents, Joe and Bea.

Her legacy lives on through her surviving family: her daughter, Trish (Ed); her son,
Doug; her stepdaughter, Shelly; her grandchildren, Adam, David, Seth, and
Connor; and her great-grandchildren, Dante and Allie. She is also survived by her
brother, Dick (Mitzy); her sister, Peggy (Bob); her nieces, Debbie, Patty, Christy,
and Michelle; her nephews, Bill, Mike, Jim, and Mike; as well as many beloved
cousins and lifelong friends.

Faye will always be loved and forever missed by the many lives she touched.

Services to honor and celebrate Faye’s life will be held on Saturday, August 29,
2026 at Sorensen Funeral Home from 2–4 pm.
