Annie Louise Large

Annie(Justice) Large, age 96, passed away peacefully in her home in Pinellas Park, Florida on October 19th. Her daughter was at her bedside.  Born in Onslow County, NC, to Joe Justice and Mary(Patten)Justice, she was the youngest daughter of 19 children. Her husband, Ralph Large, preceded her in death after 37 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Douglas(Carol) Large; her daughter Patricia Evans; her grandsons Brian (Laura) Large and Michael (Emily) Large; 4 great grandchildren; her brother Willie Justice and many nieces and nephews.

            Annie had a zest for life and in her more active years was known for her dancing and was nicknamed GoGo Annie. She would not hesitate to venture out to new places, sometimes, dragging her children along for the ride. Her independence and faith were parts of her character that carried her throughout her whole life. She loved sewing and crocheting for herself and others.  She also had a great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She shared this love with everyone she met. She loved to talk and never met a stranger

Interment will be at 2:00pm on October 26, 2023 at the Hampton Memorial Gardens in Hampton, Virginia. Donations can be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
