Victoria Kraus Obituary

Victoria Diane Kraus, age 55, passed away on Sunday, June 12th, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends. From her birth in St. Petersburg, Florida on January 2nd, 1961, Victoria lavished the ones she loved with her abiding Faith, love, and care. She was born to Clara Lee Smith and Haskel Marler, the 6th child of 7. A native Floridian, Victoria spent her childhood playing outside, exploring, and spending quality time in nature with her many childhood friends, some of which she still has today. Victoria was adventurous and had a beautiful spirit that lit up any room she entered. She attended Dixie Hollins High School, then married, and had 4 children. She became a dedicated mother and spent most of her time with her kids as she also became certified in teaching and taught many children at First Baptist Christian School in Pinellas Park. She was a lover of life, a proud believer of God, teacher to many children, a friend to all animals; especially alligators, an avid explorer of nature, a beautiful, carefree singer, and could find the beauty in anything. But, above all of this, Victoria was her children and grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader, their best friend, their spiritual advisor, and much, much more. During her most recent years, Victoria continued to be a proud mother to her 4 children and their spouses, a doting Mimi/Meme/Mimza to her 11 grandchildren, a loving sister and daughter, and lifelong friend to all. Victoria never met a stranger, she made everyone feel welcome, and she would do anything to help anyone. Left to honor Victoria and remember her love always are her four children, Naomi, William, Erika, and Joseph, their spouses, Chris, Jamie, and Nicole, her 11 grandchildren, Cody, Caleb, Nevaeh, Christian, Max, Izabella, Adrienne, Jackson, Joseph Jr., Hadleigh, and Wesley, her loving fiance Mark, friend and loving father of her 4 children, Larry, her Father, Don, her brothers, Clint and Donnie, and sisters, Terri, Karen, and Becky, and many more family and friends. For all who knew Victoria, remember to watch for your IBM. (Itty-Bitty Miracle.)Family, friends, and others whose lives Victoria touched are invited to Memorial Park Cemetery located at: 4900 54th Avenue N., St. Petersburg, on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at 1PM for her graveside service. In addition, a Celebration of Life service will be announced by the family very soon.
